Product Description:
AZ-001: (Staccato prochlorperazine). We are developing AZ-001 to treat patients suffering from acute migraine headaches. To date, we have completed a 50 subject Phase I study and a 75 patient Phase IIa study.  A 400 patient Phase IIb study was initiated in June 2006.  This Phase IIb study was designed as an outpatient, multi-center, randomized, double-blind, single-dose, placebo-controlled study.  Patient enrollment was completed in December 2006, and initial results are expected to be reported by the end of Q1 2007.

AZ-002: (Staccato alprazolam).We are developing AZ-002 for the acute treatment of panic attacks associated with panic disorder. There are currently no drugs approved to acutely treat associated panic attacks. To date, we have completed a 50 subject Phase I study.  A Phase IIa proof-of-concept clinical trial in patients with panic disorder is ongoing.

AZ-003: (Staccato fentanyl). We are developing AZ-003 for the treatment of patients with acute pain, including patients with breakthrough cancer pain and postoperative patients with acute pain episodes. Enrollment of a 50 subject Phase I clinical trial was completed, and initial results were announced in December 2006.

AZ-004: (Staccato loxapine). We are developing AZ-004 for the treatment of acute agitation in patients with schizophrenia. To date, we have complete a 50 subject Phase I study.  A 120 patient Phase IIa proof-of-concept study was initiated in September 2006.  This Phase IIa study was designed as a multi-center, randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study in an in-patient clinical setting.  Patient enrollment was completed in January 2007 and initial results are expected to be reported by the end of Q1 2007.
